Adjudication Application 1286 - 2022
Owners and the Body Corporate committee have received a re-invitation from the A/Commissioner for Body Corporate and Community Management to make a submission about the application (which is a lot easier to read because the attachments are labelled and the 122 page duplication has been removed).
A good place to start is to go to page 12:
9 Grounds
There is no need to read the 158 pages. The relevant parts of the attachments are already in the Grounds.

Body Corporate Legislation
The Body Corporate and Community Management Act (BCCMA) does not normally allow lot owners to complain to the Commissioner about their committee. The circumstances of Adjudication 1286 - 2022 allow lot owners to critisise the decisions made by the committee at the 28 October 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Owners now have a golden opportunity to have their say about what happened at the AGM. You will be able to query why a previous committee gave so much of our money to Reef Resort Pty Ltd?
You will be able to query the triple standard with regard to nominations for committee positions for the Committee Elections in the upcoming AGM.
You will be able to query why the 8 September 2022 Committee Meeting Minutes were so late and why they were tacked on to the end of the AGM Minutes instead of being sent out with their own covering letter. You will be able to query why we are in the Commercial Module where the Committee does not have a limit on committee spending and committee members do not need to be lot owners.
You will be able to query why the AGM Minutes are not a true and accurate record of the meeting.

The incorporation certificate has arrived and following the instructions that came with it a Common Seal has been purchased and we have arranged to open up a bank account.
