Storm Season Readiness

I received this Archers sponsored storm season readiness advice on 10 November 2023.
Second item on the list:
If you have large trees get them checked by a qualified arborist and trim branches clear of the property.
(We have such a tree behind our villa and requested a report on 25 May 2023).
I checked on progress with Archers the same day the storm readiness advice came.
Archers replied:
storm season

14 November 2023
The priority might have been low back in May but after reading the Archers sponsored Storm Season Readiness guide we suggested to them the priority should now be HIGH. There has been no reply.

13 December 2023
Enter the storm (Cyclone Jasper) and sure enough the large Fig tree behind us is damaged. At the top there is a large branch broken from the trunk:

broken branch

This branch is supported by other branches and some foliage and is in a precarious position.

The tree is on our Western border we share with the Country Club and has several other broken branches from the cyclone. A big gust of wind and these branches may fall all the way.

19 December 2023
I notified the Country Club and the Body Corporate manager.
The Country Club responded in 7 minutes and inspected the tree within 15 minutes.
There has been no reponse, to me, from the Body Corporate manager.
The Country Club has a lot of cleaning up to do after the cyclone. They are aware of the problem and have put the Fig tree on their list of things to be done.

29 December 2023
I notified the Caretakers' representative first thing in the morning which was replied to on 31 December 2023.
