UPDATE
Adjudication Application 0241-2024 Respondent's submissions:

As the Applicant I have read and reponded to the submissions on time.
So, by about Tuesday 23 July the whole package will have passed to a departmental adjudicator. The average time till final orders is 22 weeks and unless the adjudicator finds something completely out of wack we will not get final orders until just before Christmas.
Swimming Pool Gates
We have 7 pool gates in stage 1 and they get a lot of use. Over the past 2 years I have found some of them not closing properly 10 times. Today we had an early morning visit from Work Place Health and Safety who inspected them for the second time in 2 weeks and he found nothing wrong with them.
There are 2 issues here. One is the gate must be able to close from any open position. The second issue is we, owners, residents and the caretaker's are responsible for the safety of the pool not the inspector.
Here is the problem. After a cold night there are 2 gates that can be left a whisker open but as the day warms up the gates lock perfectly.
The problem has since been fixed.
As a result of the visit I think awarness has been heightened.
